    General

    What does LaRose WebWorks do?

We design fast, accessible, SEO-ready websites for small businesses. We handle strategy, design, development, hosting guidance, and ongoing support.

Where are you based? Do you work with clients outside your area?

We’re based in Taunton, MA and happily work with clients anywhere in the U.S. via Zoom, email, and phone.

What types of businesses do you work with?

We work with local service businesses like contractors, home services, salons, fitness, professional services, but our work extends to broader industries as well.

    What’s your process?

Every project starts with discovery, where I learn about your goals, audience, and content needs. From there, I map out a clear sitemap and create wireframes to make sure every page has a purpose. Once that foundation is set, I move into design. Development comes next, with clean, fast code that keeps your site performing well. Before launch, I run thorough checks for SEO, accessibility, and speed, so your site is ready for real visitors. After it’s live, I offer ongoing support for edits and improvements to keep your site clean and running smoothly.

    Pricing & Packages

How much does a website cost?

You can see our pricing here. We offer Lump Sum and Subscription plans.

    • On our Lump Sum plan, you pay for the full cost of the website—half to start and half upon completion—and we offer hosting for a minimal monthly fee. You end up owning the website, and can add on monthly options like maintenance or unlimited edits.
    • On our Subscription plan, you pay $0 + one time fees (blog/CMS setup, or per page pricing). For monthly fee, we provide you with hosting, mainetenance and unlimited edits, with the option for a new website every 3 years so you always have a new and fresh website.

    Most clients choose the subscription.

What’s included in the “5 pages”?

Typically, the pages included are Home, About, Work/Portfolio, Reviews/Testimonials, and Contact. We can swap pages to fit your business.

Can I cancel my Subscription once I pay the full price the site is worth?

The subscription isn’t a payment plan toward ownership...it’s an ongoing service. Your monthly fee covers hosting, unlimited edits, updates, and support for as long as you keep the subscription active. If you prefer to fully own your site with no ongoing commitment, the Lump Sum package is the right choice. The Subscription plan makes it affordable and eases stress by letting me handle updates for you.

    Are there any add-ons?

Yes. If you’d like a blog you can easily update, I can set that up with an editor for a one-time fee of $500. Additional pages beyond the standard package are $100 each. For more advanced features—such as online booking, e-commerce, or custom integrations—I’ll provide a case-by-case quote based on your needs.

Do you offer refunds or cancellations?
    • Lump sum: Non-refundable deposit covers initial strategy and design work with the remainder billed upon launch. Cancelling service or hosting means you can take your site wherever you need.
    • Subscription: There is no refund. Cancellation means I keep the code and design, and you can take the content.
    Who owns the website?
    • Lump sum plan: You own the code and design upon final payment.
    • Subscription plan: I own the code and design. You own the content. Think of it like an auto lease. You don't own the car, but you enjoy the luxury of a new one every 3 years... but updates and fixes are free.

    SEO, Speed & Accessibility

Will my site be optimized for search engines?

Yes. We set up page titles, meta descriptions, structured headings, internal links, XML sitemaps, and clean URLs.

How fast will my site load?

We build performance-first with image optimization and minimal scripts for better user experience and SEO.

    Will the site be accessible?

Yes. We follow WCAG-inspired best practices for semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, and appropriate ARIA.

    Editing Your Website

Can I edit the site myself?

Yes. With the blog/CMS add-on, you’ll get either WordPress or a simpler, faster CMS for easy updates. If you’re on the Subscription plan, you also get unlimited edits—just email us the changes and we’ll handle them.

    What if I don’t want a CMS?

No problem. Send updates and we’ll make them for you as part of your subscription or maintenance plan.

    Hosting, Domains & Security

    Do you host the site?

On the subscription plan, hosting is included. On lump sum projects, we’ll set you up with reliable, secure hosting and manage it for $25/mo, or collaborate with your preferred host.

Do you help with domain and email setup?

Yes. We’ll help connect your domain (DNS) and advise on professional email options.

    Will my site be secure?

Yes. Every site I build comes with SSL. I also keep things simple behind the scenes, which means fewer security risks. On top of that, I follow best practices for updates and form protection, so your website stays reliable and secure.

    Integrations

Can you add online booking, payments, or a shop?

Yes. We integrate common tools (Calendly, Stripe, Square, Shopify Lite, etc.). Full e-commerce is available and quoted based on your needs.

Can you connect my site to Google Analytics, Search Console, and social media?

Absolutely. We’ll set them up and make sure your site is trackable and shareable.

    Revisions & Support

    What does “unlimited edits” mean?

Send any reasonable content/design tweaks like text updates, image edits, or web page updates. Major new features or pages may be quoted separately.

    What happens after launch?

We offer ongoing support, updates, and performance checks. Subscription clients are covered; lump sum clients can add maintenance anytime.
